WHAT DO I DO ONCE I ARRIVE TO FISHERMAN'S BEACH?

If you are driving: Public parking next to Fisherman's Beach in Swampscott, MA, is available on Humphrey Street for free, where no recreation parking sticker is required. Once you park your car, please walk over to the parking lot at Fisherman’s Beach.

 

If coming by Uber or Lyft: Ask your driver to drop you off at the parking lot of Fisherman's beach.  

 

All participants should arrive to the parking lot of FIsherman's beach 20 minutes prior to your scheduled charter time. Your captain will meet you there. From the parking lot, you’ll board a small launch boat that will take you to our sailboat, Wodnesday, which is anchored at a nearby mooring.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE WEATHER IS BAD ON THE DAY THAT I AM SUPPOSED TO SAIL?

The captain will monitor predicted weather conditions for your scheduled charter. He will notify you at least 24 hours before your scheduled charter if conditions are not optimal and deemed unsafe for sailing (heavy winds above 15 knots, rain, and/ or strong swell above 4ft). You can choose to reschedule for another day or get a full refund.    

CAN I GET A REFUND IF I CANCEL THE CHARTER AFTER BOOKING?

Participants are eligible for a full refund so long as they cancel 24 hours or more before the time of sail. If a cancelation is made less than 24 hours before the time of sail, you will be refunded 50% of the cost of charter.
